A Day @ Hong Kong Disneyland


I recently went to Hong Kong Disneyland on my day off. I deliberately chose to go on a weekday to avoid the massive crowds and the endless queues. Seriously, I avoid going to theme parks on public holidays and weekends because you end up paying to wait for hours.

Sadly, the infamous castle was boxed up that day. It seriously felt like I was in Minecraft when I looked at it. Personally, I think a day (or 2 days max) at Hong Kong Disneyland is enough because it’s a small and concentrated theme park. The different themed areas such as Fantasyland and Tomorrowland are literally right next to each other. Due to the cultural habits of some tourists, queue jumping was a very common scene. However the Disneyland staff treated these matters really well, they would ask enthusiastic queue jumpers to go to the back of the line. *Thumbs up*

Even though I only stayed in Hong Kong Disneyland for one day, it was a nice mini break from the bustling city. Here is a short vlog of my day, hope you like it! :)

    We almost went to Hong Kong Disneyland in 2013 but last minute changed our mind and went to Singapore Universal Studio instead. Looks like you had amazing fun!
