Curls


I often straighten my hair because it keeps my hair tidy and less of a bird’s nest.  However I do get a little bored with my straight hair from time to time, and I would look for new ways to style it. One of the easiest and most convenient methods is curling my hair with my straighteners. Recently, I tried creating soft curls by curling strands of my hair outwards. 






My straighteners are Vidal Sassoon's ionic straighteners. I bought them from Argos years ago and they still work really well, despite the fact I dropped them quite a few times. They have an ionic function which reduces heat damage to the hair, and 5 temperature settings to choose from. I tried using these straighteners with and without the ionic setting, and it does seem to make a difference. My hair is definitely smoother and less dry when I have the ionic setting on.

    I love your hair! Curls look so good in your hair and I always love to wear my hair wavy. I always sleep with my hair in a dutch braid so when I wake up my hair is curly and they waves stay in all day long too! Great post. xx

      It was a bit frustrating when I first started curling my hair because I didn't know how to do it properly. I'm starting to get the gist of it after a few times. Don't worry, practise makes perfect! :D Oh that's nice! Please share your photos! Would love to see them!

    I pretty much always wear my hair wavy or curly. My hair is a bit thinner, so I like the added volume! Love this look in your hair! it looks so incredible on you. I usually use a curling rod for my hair and it works like a charm, even when my hair is longer!

    I have short hair and I use a curling wand, mostly because I haven't quite gotten the hang of using a straightener to curl my hair. When I used to have long hair, I'd tie it up in a bun or braid it before I slept to wake up with soft, wavy hair. No heat required too! ❤

    Oh my gosh, your hair looks ridiculously pretty with curls framing your face - seriously, this is such a 'princess look'! My hair is very long and straight, meaning curls can only stay in for seconds before dropping out.. so I'll live vicariously through your pretty curls for now haha! :)

    I have natural waves/curls so if I ever want them more defined I braid my hair when it's wet and do it that way. Otherwise I don't have any tips I'm sorry!
