How I Style Chelsea Boots for Autumn

Hello there! Autumn has arrived and it is time to fish out my autumn/winter clothes. This beautiful season is the perfect time to start wearing boots. My favourite pair of boots has to be my Chelsea boots from Clarks. These are my second pair and I still love skipping around in them. I think the they're extremely comfy and versatile for the chillier weather.  They also have a tiny heel which helps add an inch of height to the petite-sized me. In this video I tossed a few autumn outfits together with my Chelsea boots, I hope you like it! :D

There are certain occasions where we would often be asked to dressed smartly. I sometimes find it tricky to dress in smart attire, especially in the summer. Since the weather is already very warm, the last thing I want to do is to put myself in a hot stuffy suit. Recently, I came up with a few ideas for smart looks in the summer.

Hi, I'm back! I have been busy editing my new video. After some trial and error, it's finally ready! The theme for this video is denim.

Denim is definitely one of the trends this year. I have been seeing so many denim looks on runways and magazines. This cool blue material is so versatile, I decided to coordinate some looks using denim pieces. 

Dress Code: SMART CASUAL

Lately, I have been busy working on my new video which is based on smart casual wear. Recently, I was invited to a smart casual event and it inspired me to make a video based on this dress code. After staring at my wardrobe for a while, I realised it’s not easy to grasp the gist of ‘smart casual’. Therefore I decided to coordinate  a few outfits based on this theme.

A Short December Post

It feels so surreal that we are in the month of December. Did someone press the fast forward button for 2014? (Lol) I seriously need to be more active with this blog. I looked at my last post and it was posted more than a month ago?! Oh dear...

First Vlog

I mentioned in my last posted that I went back home for a while, so here is a video of my trip. :)

This is actually my first time vlogging, I must say it was challenging! It didn't help at all when anxiety came by to say hello. At first I felt really awkward about filming in public, but thanks to my wonderful cameraman and camerawomen I managed to put this video together. I want to say a big THANK YOU to them. :D

Spring Lookbook 2014

Yay! Spring is here which means the weather is getting warmer! (It's funny because as I'm typing this entry it's pouring outside, oh the irony.) So it's time to bring out those light and pastel pieces from the wardrobe. After some trial and error, I put together a few simple looks for spring. :)

9 Outfits with Floral Dr. Martens

As I have mentioned in one of my previous posts, I bought two pairs of Dr. Martens (one pair of burgundy and one pair of floral) from Schuh. Floral prints are extremely pretty to look at however they are not always easy to coordinate with. I have been experimenting with a few outfits which I could wear with my floral docs, and here are some outfits that I came up with:

As we all know Valentine's day is mostly about the colour red. I really like red because it has been one of my favourite colours since I was a child. Therefore I decided to make an outfit video using a red jumper which I recently bought from Uniqlo. 

A Braid Day

I don't normally do much to my hair apart from brushing it in the morning, which can be a vicious routine. Since my hair is so long and thick, I would always find knots here and there when I wake up. It feels as if I have been trying to knit with my hair whilst sleeping. (=_=")

Honestly, I can never use combs. It's either the comb breaks first or it gets stuck in my hair (leading to another stressful combat between me and my hair). After breaking a few combs, I have settled for a curl brush, also known as a cylinder brush. At the moment  it seems to be the only brush that can handle my crazy forest-like hair. As you can see from the photos, I still have baby hairs growing around my hairline. I have so much hair that I sometimes remind myself of 'It' from Adams family. lol

Last week has been slightly all over the place for me. By the end of each day, I sat down and wondered why on earth I had been so busy. As a matter of fact, I have been trying to settle down in this new environment and lifestyle because I realised I am no longer a student... :( *waves goodbye to student discount*
