A Magical Birthday Weekend: Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel

No matter if you’re a child or an adult, the mention of “Disneyland” can be extremely exhilarating. It has almost been a century since the Walt Disney company was founded, and the magic of Disney continues to enchant the hearts of many around the world.

An Interesting Discovery

I've always wanted to dye my hair a vibrant colour. It's just one of those things that I haven't ticked off on my bucket list. I never got down to do it because my hair is naturally black, which means I need to bleach my hair in order to achieve the right colour. We all know that coloured hair can be quite damaging and high maintenance. When the roots start growing out in 2-3 weeks time, you will need to re-dye or re-bleach your hair if you want to continue having magical unicorn locks. As a result I have left the idea of dying my hair aside until recently when I discovered a new method that will allow me to bring my coloured hair dream to life. Woohoo!

The 1 Day Tattoo Eyeliner

Hello there! Hope you're well!

Don't we all wish to have perfect makeup on when we leave the house? However things don't always go according to plan. After a long day of school/work we have to face the results of runny mascaras and disappearing foundations. One of my biggest frustrations is having a pair of panda eyes from smudged eyeliner. That's why when I found a 1 day tattoo eyeliner in Japan, I was really excited to try it out.

Extra-volume Collagene Waterproof Mascara by L'Oreal

When it comes to make up, eye makeup must be my favourite. Despite looking like a puff fish after a bad night’s sleep, a simple touch up around the eyes can instantly wake me up.  One of my favourite make up goodies is definitely my collagen volume mascara by L'oreal Paris. I have been using this mascara for years and I am still loving it. After going through a number of mascaras, I can say that this mascara has been the best so far. From texture to colour, it has ticked off my all boxes. Initially, I started off with its original mascara that came out with Eva Longoria as its spokesperson. It was roughly around £8 when I bought this. Being a student at the time, I did find it a little pricey but I'm so glad that I bought it!

Ever since I started using the original collagen mascara, I have moved onto the waterproof formula because my eyelids can get a little oily at times. The waterproof formula reduces smudging under my eyes which helps prevent a panda looking me.

Twinkly Nails

I got a sample bottle of nails inc polish in a dark purple shade from
last month's copy of Glamour magazine. I wasn’t used to the dark
shade of purple because I normally go for brighter colours. I
decided to add a bit of sparkle to edge things up.

I love glitter nail polishes, because they make your nails look so nice and twinkly. However they do seem to take a lot more time to apply and remove. Wouldn’t it be great if there is a glitter polish that could be easily applied and removed? Well, I think I found one that satisfies both criteria. I am very please with its texture and amount of glitter. It has earned a spot on my list of favourite polishes. Woohoo! :D

So my current favourite glitter polish is....

Water Strong Liquid Liner by Browlash Ex

My daily mirror reflection when I first started wearing eyeliner.

So my eyeliner adventure started when I was around 18/19 years old. I know, I was a late bloomer. lol
For a long time, I wasn't used to wearing make-up. It felt really uncomfortable. Most of the time I even forgot I had make-up on, so I would rub my eyes subconsciously during the day - bad habit.
