Hair Braid Day


Happy Wednesday! 2 more days until the weekend, WHOOP WHOOP! 

Today I want to write about the hairstyle I have been loving recently - side braids. 

When I was in Japan, my hair kept getting in the way. Apart from accidentally dipping my hair into food, I was struggling to keep my hair off my face. My hair is pretty long and wavy, so when it got windy I looked like 'It' from Adams family. I tried straightening my hair, but due to the different voltage in Japan, my straighteners (which I brought from the UK) never heated up properly. :(


As a result I decided to braid both sides of my hair. I did this quite often, and I'm starting to like this new hairdo. At first I wasn't used to this new look because I've always had my wavy hair around my face. I guess new hairstyles take time to get used to right?
