Who Loves Ramen?

When it comes to Japanese food, sushi and ramen will automatically pop into everyone's mind. If you're a huge fan of ramen, then you need to check out the ramen museum in Shin-Yokohama. Here you'll find scrumptious ramen from Sapporo all the way to Hakata. You can eat all sorts of ramen from different Japanese cities under the same roof.

Despite having ordered a mini bowl of ramen from each shop I visited, I couldn't eat my away around all the ramen shops because I was so full by the end of my third bowl. However I did get a chance to try three different soup bases; soya sauce, tonkotsu (pork bone) and miso. My personal favourite has to be the tonkotsu ramen from Kumamoto. This is because the fragrant broth is packed with flavour, making it extremely appetising. On the other hand, I found the soya sauce and miso broths a little too salty and heavy. But if you're a fan of richer and heavier broths, you'll probably enjoy having them with your ramen.

Without any further ado, let's get ourselves some ramen!

Do you like ramen? What's your favourite broth?
